I fell in love with public radio in high school and in college started my public radio career at a station in Southern New Mexico. I graduated with a degree in Journalism from New Mexico State University in 2004. After college I was an intern for NPR's Morning Edition in Washington DC, which was by far one of the best experiences of my life. Joining Juan Williams on an interview with Condoleeza Rice in her office in the West Wing and watching Susan Stamberg interview Mel Brooks were two big highlights of my time there.
I joined KUNC in the summer of 2006 and look forward to many years serving the Northern Colorado Community.
In my free time I enjoy watching reruns of The X-Files, Golden Girls and Little House on the Prairie and listening to/playing music.
