 Jessica WalterMembership Associate 970 350-0815 jessica.walter@kunc.org I began my career with KUNC in January of 2008 as the Administrative Assistant. Although I was released from the employment responsibilities of that position within a month, I was fortunate enough to be concurrently re-hired as Membership Associate. I feel overwhelmingly fortunate to have been introduced to this warm, intelligent group of individuals of such high caliber. Mostly, I just like them because I haven’t been ousted for my love of America’s Next Top Model and antique brooches. I graduated with a B.A. in English from the University of Northern Colorado, where I began viewing and manipulating the English language in a way that has continued to bring me closer to other human beings than I thought possible. I spend most of my time reading, riding horses, volunteering, playing with dogs, writing poetry and creative non-fiction, trying to maintain correct grammaticality in those around me, and of course listening to KUNC, with This American Life and World Café inhabiting the top of my favorites list. |
