However, throughout my career with the USDA I did countless market report broadcasts. One of my favorite stories is about the guy who said he had to call the recording three times just to get the market information cuz he was so enthralled by the sound of my voice! I am blessed to have landed in such a great place to work as KUNC: terrific product and fabulous people, it just doesn't get any better than that. And while I miss working in the cattle industry (and get'in paid to hang out at a sale barn!), I have learned a great deal during my first year here and am so impressed with our local Public Radio as well as the quality and dedication of the staff. My personal delight comes from my fabulous terriers Winnie and Koda; scavenging for county antique treasures, reading and studying Christian psychology and growing in relationship with God and my fellow man. - - Back - -
