I am a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in English, and I was happy to join the KUNC staff in the spring of 2008. Although “Administrative Assistant” may not sound glamorous, I can assure you that it’s a lot more like ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ than you may think. Replace Meryl Streep with Garrison Keillor and you’re halfway there. As a long-time listener of public radio stations around the country, KUNC is by far among the best I’ve heard, and I am always happy to help the listeners and staff. I was born in Connecticut and am still a Nor’Easter at heart, although I have lived in Colorado for a little over ten years now. I’m still adjusting to the west after all those years, and I don’t think I’ll ever get used to how nice everybody is out here! In my spare time I carve rubber stamps and patiently explain the films of David Lynch to my cat, Tiffany. |
