I first heard KUNC when I was a student at The University of Northern Colorado desperately trying to get my ‘This American Life’ fix. Little did I know at the time that in just a few years Ira Glass himself would be suggesting that he and I trade glasses at a KUNC sponsored lecture in Boulder. I was the envy of my NPR-junkie friends for weeks afterwards as a result of the ensuing photos.

I joined the team at KUNC in 2008 as the Administrative Assistant, and spent two happy years toiling away assisting the staff, listeners and members before moving into the Operations Administrator position in March of 2010. My job falls under a few different departments here, and if you should call our offices there’s a good chance we’ll meet. I manage our Facebook and Twitter sites, help out our Corporate Support department, and try to keep the staff as happy as possible (primarily by making sarcastic comments during staff meetings). I’m a bit of a catch-all, and that’s how I like it – that way I never get bored.

My spare time is chiefly dedicated to updating my Netflix queue and making sure my two cats don’t kill one another, but I also spend as much vacation time as I’m allowed visiting my family in north-eastern Connecticut and my partner, Cale, in Estes Park.
