I'm Steve Inskeep. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie finally met his state's favorite son. He attended more than 100 Bruce Springsteen concerts without meeting the devoted Democrat. But after the Republican governor toured storm damage with President Obama, the two embraced. A dad I know sent me a text proposing that we bring our third-graders to Key Arena for the exceptionally mop-topped British boy band's Seattle show. Christie Challenges 'New York Post' Story http://www.kunc.org/post/nj-gov-christie-challenges-new-york-post-story Transcript
STEVE INSKEEP, HOST:
Good morning. I'm Steve Inskeep. Although they disagree on many things politically, Christie has attended 127 Springsteen concerts. It's MORNING EDITION.
