I have been part of KUNC's award winning team since July 1985 working as local host of both "Morning Edition" and "All Things Considered." For the past several years I have settled into the morning hours, which has its advantages and disadvantages. On the plus side, I'm able to be home when my two kids get home from school. On the down side, I go to bed (about 8 pm) before my wife and kids. The alarm rings at 2:30 am and I leave my home in Fort Collins by about 4 am.

I consider KUNC to be the premier public radio station in the country because of the quality people who work here and who really care about our listeners. With our expanded news staff we intend to cover the issues, people and stories that are important to our listening audience.

My hobbies include refereeing basketball, skiing and hiking.
