CU, CSU Calling for Sportsmanship Ahead of Annual Rival Game

Tomorrow marks the annual Rocky Mountain Showdown in Denver, when thousands of football fans will descend on Sports Authority Field to watch the University of Colorado square off with Colorado State University. The rivalry typically comes with it its fair share of melees and alcohol-fueled disturbances, and officials from both schools are ramping up calls for better sportsmanship among students and fans of the schools.

August Sees Slight Uptick in Colorado Unemployment

The U.S. Labor Department says unemployment rates increased in 26 states last month. In spite of job losses, Colorado’s unemployment rate remains unchanged at 8.5%.
