The skies over Boulder and Broomfield have been quite crowded lately with airplanes, gliders and hot air balloons flying overhead. But, a recent mid-air collision has area pilots and airport managers in Boulder County working to improve safety.

U.S. Senate Passes Postal Service Reform Bill 62 to 39

The U.S. Senate passed a bill today aimed at saving the U.S. Postal Service. The legislation would make it harder to eliminate Saturday mail delivery and close thousands of low-revenue post offices already targeted by the USPS.

RTD Abandons Request For Sales Tax Increase [Updated]

The RTD Board of Governors vote puts a hybrid/BRT option on hold for the Northwest Corridor

The Regional Transportation District Board of Governors voted Tuesday night not to ask for a .04% sales tax increase this November to fund FasTracks, effectively ending movement on a hybrid “rail/bus rapid transit” expansion of the system from Denver to Longmont.
