CU Regents Vote to Overhaul Boulder Journalism Program

Regents voted 5-4 to close CU's School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

Today regents at the University of Colorado voted to revamp the journalism program on the Boulder campus.

Regents voted 5-4 to close CU's School of Journalism and Mass Communication. It’s a change administrators say is necessary to kick-start a new program for information and communication technology. CU Regent Kyle Hybl cast the tie breaking vote in favor of closing the school.

Teacher Effectivness Rules Now in the Hands of Education Board

The State Council for Educator Effectiveness has given 60 recommendations to the State Board of Education.  The board will now review those and make rules governing how to measure effective teachers.
