UFOs Over Colorado? 'Dude, Totally!'

"Three red lights in a triangle ... spotted hovering in the sky" over Lafayette, Colo., on Monday have folks there talking about aliens and UFOs, Boulder's Daily Camera says.

Local airport officials and the Federal Aviation Administration say they didn't pick up anything weird on radar that night.

Economy Grew Slightly Faster Than Previously Thought In 4Q 2010

The nation's gross domestic product expanded at a 3.1 percent annual rate in the fourth quarter of 2010, a bit faster than the previous estimate of 2.8 percent growth, the Bureau of Economic Analysis just reported.

Report: General Electric Paid No Federal Taxes Last Year

General Electric earned $14.2 billion last year — $5.1 billion of it from U.S. operations — and paid no federal taxes, The New York Times reports today.

According to the Times, G.E.'s "extraordinary success is based on an aggressive strategy that mixes fierce lobbying for tax breaks and innovative accounting that enables it to concentrate its profits offshore."
