Colorado Mail Processing Centers Stay Open, For Now...

The US Postal Service announced Thursday which of the 140 mail processing centers [pdf] they’ll be closing between this August and February of 2013. All six of Colorado's locations have been spared from the first round of cuts.

Two Colorado Rivers Make 2012 Endangered River List

America's Most Endangered Rivers of 2012

This year’s list of the 10 most endangered rivers in the country includes two Colorado streams. The environmental group American Rivers ranked the Crystal River 8th, and the Green River - which flows through Wyoming, Utah and northwest Colorado - as the 2nd most at risk.
