President Obama makes four campaign stops in Colorado this week following last week’s visit by his Republican challenger Mitt Romney. Like four years ago, Colorado is once again front and center in the presidential race. Latino voters heavily supported Mr. Obama in 2008 – but things could be different this time around.

Coloradans will once again play a pivotal role in the presidential election, female voters in particular. Both President Obama and Mitt Romney see suburbanite women between the ages of 30 and 50 as critical to their victory in Colorado and other states like Nevada and Virginia.

Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney attended a private fundraiser in Aspen Monday night and has a western slope campaign stop planned for today.

It’s signature gathering time for backers of several initiatives that may or may not appear on this November’s election ballot.

Colorado 6th District Congressman Mike Coffman has apologized for saying the President isn’t an American at heart. Whether the issued comes back to hurt him at the ballot box remains to be seen, but his Democratic challenger is hoping to capitalize on the issue.
