I was born and raised in Greeley, and KUNC was a backdrop for some of my earliest memories. My mother operated a small retail business in the front room of our house where the radio was set up, and I knew that a day’s business was coming to a close when All Things Considered was coming to an end.

Now, I love to make brunch on Saturday mornings while I listen to Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me! And, on quiet evenings, I rely on the heart-wrenching stories of This American Life to keep me company. Apart from my nostalgia and my tireless love for news quizzes and storytelling, I believe that public radio is a necessity for a healthy community.

I graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and have worked with various contemporary art institutions in the Denver area. I am fascinated by the ways in which art and public radio overlap and interact with each other. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

It’s an honor to be a part of the KUNC community. I am excited to work with an amazing group of people that includes a very intelligent, fun staff and the dedicated listeners and supporters who make it all possible.
