Organizers announced the permanent tagline to honor Roger Ebert.
The annualConference on World Affairs begins Monday at the University of Colorado in Boulder and ends on Friday, April 12th.
This year’s conference will pay tribute to Roger Ebert, who was a participant for over 40 years. Ebert said of the conference, "why is this week like lifeblood for me? Once we settle into our life's careers, most of us charge the line with our heads down. I have a tendency, for example, to think the world revolves around movies. Once a year at the Conference, I am forced to think on subjects not of my own choosing. I get to talk to people from other worlds."
Each April 100 participants representing a wide range of backgrounds gather in Boulder for what The New York Times calls "a week-long extravaganza of discussion and debate" on approximately 200 panels, plenaries and performances. Conference participants discuss issues on an impromptu basis.
Ebert, along with CWA founder Howard Higman, created the Cinema Interruptusin 1975. During the four days of the Interruptus, any member of the audience may freeze the film by yelling, "Stop!" in order to make comments or ask questions.

This year's keynote address will be delivered by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Hedrick Smith in Macky Auditorium on Monday, April 8 at 11:30 a.m.
Smith is an accomplished journalist with the New York Times, and has created 26 prime-time specials for PBS, including two Emmy Award-winning Frontline programs.
The list of participants includes NPR correspondent Margot Adler and Kevin Kling, who is a commentator onAll Things Considered. Both Adler and Kling will participate in nine panels.
