Environmental Groups Oppose Governor's Plan to Save Energy Office
There are fears that the Governor’s Energy Office, which currently promotes renewable and clean energy, could soon be a thing of the past.
Federal funding for the office runs out this year, and a bill backed by Governor John Hickenlooper to come up with more money, and broaden its mission, faces opposition from the environmental community. KUNC’s Bente Birkeland has more from the state capitol.
