Google says 2011 will be the "biggest hiring year in company history," bigger than the 4,500 people it hired in 2010 and bigger than the 6,000+ people it hired in 2007.
The AP reports that Google plans to hire more than 6,200 people this year to join the 24,400 people already working for the Internet search colossus.
