Governor John Hickenlooper is among a half dozen Coloradans scheduled to speak at the Democratic National Convention this week. Hickenlooper will have a brief, prime time slot Wednesday night. The former Denver mayor and brew pub owner is one of the most popular governors in the country. And the Obama campaign hopes that popularity will help the party once again win the battleground state of Colorado in November.
