Colombian superstar recently discovered that being popular also means everything he does can be interpreted differently than he intended.
The Miami Herald recently reported that the singer decided to postpone a show scheduled for Miami on April 15th. It coincided with an anniversary that's sensitive for the city's Cuban exile community: that of the Bay Of Pigs invasion.
On April 15, 1961, a group of armed Cuban exiles attempted to invade Cuba with the aim of overthrowing the island nation's ruler, Fidel Castro. The CIA-led effort led to the death of more than 100 of the exiles while more than 1000 were imprisoned, hundreds of whom were executed by the Castro government.
According to the Herald article, Juanes suggested the postponement after getting negative feedback about the selection of that particular date, with some charging the singer picked the date as an affront to the exile community. Many were still fuming over the singer's 2009 free concert in Havana called Peace Without Borders.
Juanes, who lives in Miami, denied the claims and will return to the city later this year as his P.A.R.C.E tour of the US continues.

Juanes Postpone Concierto En Miami
A estas alturas, Juanes debe ya entender que ser tan famoso también significa que todo lo que hace puede ser malinterpretado.
El diario Miami Heraldhace poco reportó que el cantante Colombiano ha decidido posponer su show en Miami el 15 de Abril, ya que coincide con una fecha dolorosa para la comunidad de cubanos exiliados en esa ciudad: La invasión de La Bahía de Cochinos.
El 15 de Abril de 1961, un grupo armado de cubanos exiliados intento invadir Cuba con el objetivo de derrocar al líder de la isla, Fidel Castro. La invasión, auspiciada por la CIA, terminó con la muerte de más de 100 de ellos. De los miles que fueron tomados prisioneros, cientos fueron ejecutados por el gobierno de Castro.
En este momento Juanes se encuentra en una gira mundial llamada P.A.R.C.E (igual que su reciente álbum). Según el Heraldel rockero decidió posponer la fecha luego de haber recibido comentarios negativos sugiriendo que el cantante la eligió como una afrenta a la comunidad cubana en Miami. Muchos en esta comunidad siguen enfurecidos por Paz Sin Fronteras, el concierto gratis que brindó el cantante en el 2009 en la Habana.
Juanes, que vive en Miami, ha negado las acusaciones y dice que regresara mas tarde en el año a Miami.
