'The King's Speech' Leads Golden Globe Nominations

Nominations for the 68th Golden Globe Awards are out and the Associated Press says "the British monarchy tale The King's Speech has taken the lead ... with seven nominations, including best drama and acting honors for Colin Firth, Helena Bonham Carter and Geoffrey Rush."

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has the complete list of nominees  posted here.

Our much cooler cousin Linda Holmes at MonkeySee will have much more about the Golden Globes a little later.

Update at 10:15 a.m. ET: And Linda's post is up. She says the nominations "are for the most part about as predictable as award nominations get."
