Celebrations, remembrances and more along Colorado's Front Range.

The Greeley Holocaust Memorial Observance Committee, and Chalice Arts shares One Survivor Remembers, a 38 minute video, tonight (4/6), beginning at 7pm; introduced by Dr. Barry Rothaus Professor Emeritus, UNC. A poster display depicting the History, Liberation, Justice and Accountability of the Holocaust, will be open for viewing from 5-7 pm. Streaming music and short videos titled Why We Remember the Holocaust, Defying Genocide and animated historical maps will be featured as well. Passover Refreshments for guests, at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Greeley, 929 15th St. and 10th Ave. Part of the annual Remembrance Events.  970-351-6751

It’s First Friday, and galleries in Old Town Ft. Collins, Louisville, Estes Park and more have their doors open to share their beautiful art and tastiest starting at 6pm tonight

UNC is holding their Spring Dance Concert tonight at UNC’s Langworthy Theatre in Greely’s starting at 7:30

Tonight (4/6), UNC Opera presents A Little Night Music at the Monfort Concert Hall at Greeley’s Union Colony Civic Center at 7:30pm.

Great theatre in Ft. Collins-- OpenStage Theatre’s presentation of the frothy, fast-paced farce,  The Ladies Man running through April 28  and Bas Bleu’s poignant, The Rabbit Hole runs through May 6

The world's most unique banjo player, Bela Fleck and his legendary band the Flecktones are back for the first time in twenty years with the original line-up.  You can hear the tonight (4/6) at the Vilar Center in Beaver Creek at 7:30, and tomorrow night  (4/7) at the Boulder Theater 

The Lumineers have an 8:00 show at Mishawaka’s SpokesBuzz Lounge Tonight, (4/6)  . The band pledges to play music that "makes you smile, cry and stomp your foot simultaneously." And SHEL has a concert w/ Coles Whalen Indoors  at the Mishawaka tomorrow night 

Tomorrow delight in a day of exploration of the attunement principals and practices for the flow of the healing current at the Sunrise Ranch in Loveland . David Karchare and Jane Anetrini will host the event. 9:30am-5:30pm. $60 includes lunch and dinner. 

Tomorrow starting a 6pm, there is to be a special benefit concert at the Ice House in Evergreen to cover the veterinary bills of six emaciated horses seized in February in the Bailey area.  Local musicians, coffee and a silent auction.

Boulder Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship presents Easter for Everyone: Creating Paradise Here on Earth,"  a family-friendly service for religious liberals at Lafayette’s Centaurus High School theatre with a  Children's Canned Food Hunt beginning at 11:15 to benefit of Boulder County AIDS Project.

This coming Wednesday starting at 5:30, you can hear some great Jazz and standards from the Great American songbook of the 30’s & 40’s with The Prohibition Six at Boulder’s St Julian Hotel 

Reed Foehl has an 8:00 show at denier’s Swallow Hill Music Hall next Friday night (4/13)

Opening next Friday night (4/13) and running weekends till the 22nd, Frequent Flyers presents Cirque de Minuit, or  The Midnight Circus at Boulder’s Dairy Center for the arts in 7:45 Friday and Saturday performances and 3:45 Sunday Matinees 

Next Saturday(4/14)  the Fort Collins Symphony presents A Tribute to John Williams including well-known works including music from films such as "Star Wars," "E.T.," "Raiders of the Lost Ark," "Saving Private Ryan," and "Schindler's List." At Timberline church – for eztra fun, concert attendees are encouraged to dress up as their favorite Star Wars or E.T. character or as Indiana Jones, and can bid on original fine art, produced by young local artists. 

Join internationally renowned guitar virtuoso Trace Bundy in celebration of his new CD Elephant King with a concert April 27th at Everyday Joe’s Coffee House in Fort Collins.

Opera Fort Collins presents Afternoon Tea with a Diva on Sunday April 29th .  thea full British Afternoon Tea will be served prior to the performance, Lee Hoiby’s whimsical mini-opera, Bon Appetit, a transcription of Julia Child’s The French Chef set to music.   Not only will the afternoon be entertaining, but it is also a fundraiser for Opera Fort Collins.  Don’t miss this delicious event – Sunday April 29th at the Fort Collins country club.  The festivities start at 2pm.
