The Boulder County Fair runs till tomorrow (8/6) at the Boulder County Fairground in Longmont, the Larimer County Fair & Rodeo starts today and runs till the 9that The Ranch, Larimer County Fairgrounds, and at the Event Complex in Loveland

It’s First Friday, and many shops and galleries are open for your perusal—in Historic Downtown Greeley, enjoy wine and food tastings, live music, art exhibitions, craft sales, and more... Listen to the music of Judy Wilson and her great Jazz, Soul, Country, Funk and Latin music outside of Lincoln Park Emporium on the 8thStreet plaza and more-Galleries in Old Town Ft. Collins celebrates First Friday from 6-9, Tennyson Street in Denver Celebrates First Friday among them.

Michael Martin Murphy has a concert tonight at 7pm during the annual Hunter Jumper Show at the Fairgrounds at Stanley Park in Estes Park.

Choosing June Band has a 9:00 show at the Bittersweet Café in downtown Louisville tonight.

Colorado Mandolin Festival happens tomorrow at Willow Farm in Longmont from 3-9pm August 6.  The DMO's performance takes place at 3:00, followed by sets by our subsets Duo Cantabile and the Panache Ensemble. Others appearing at the fest include fellow traveler Charlie Provenza, the Mullins Brothers, Wonderlic and more.

Keystone brings the wonders of Appalachia to the Rockies.  With their 15thAnnual Bluegrass & Beer Festival tomorrow and Sunday at River Run at Keystone.  Seminars, Microbreweries, great food and music all weekend including the Peter Rowan Bluegrass Band, Farewell Drifters, Honey Don’t, The Steel Pennies, and Loose Cannon Bluegrass  among other great bands all weekend long as well as Bluegrass seminars in Warren Station.  The workshops are free and limited to 30 people. Saturday’s session is at 10am and Sunday’s is at 11am.  Renowned singer, Peter Rowan will deliver an intimate 1 hour interactive instructional on the intricacies of vocal harmony.  Nashville singer-songwriter Shannon Whitworth will present a 1 hour small group workshop on songwriting.
