Galas, Celebrations of Dia de Los Muertos, and Balls amongst the offerings this weekend.

Support the arts while you dance the night away at the third annual Dead Artists Ball, tomorrow night (10/22) 7:00pm – 11:00pm, at the Peaks Bar & Grill at the Indian Peaks Golf Course in Lafayette.  hors d’oeuvres, music by DJ Ironfeather, dancing, and a costume contest.  People are encouraged to dress as their favorite “Dead Artist,” but all costumes are welcome.  The best costume in each category will be awarded a prize.  Categories include: People's Choice, Most Convincing, Best "Work of Art" and Most Creative.

Join the Lincoln Park Library for two special programs recognizing the traditions of the Day of the Dead for families with children ages 6 and younger, enjoy some special stories and traditional crafts in the Children's Room. For ages 7 and older. Celebrations of La Ofrenda de los Muertos: Honoring Days of the Deadat the Longmont Museum all month long, plus the largest Day of the Dead Celebration in Colorado next Saturday at the Museum, Art Night In in Old Town Lafayette offers story weaver Suzanne Conolly Howes spin spooky tales of the trickster in Coyote tales and treats  as well as libations and goodies along the 400 block of Public Road in Old Town Lafayette starting at 6:30 tonight . 

The Longmont chorale kicks off their 75 the Anniversary Season with "Steal Away to Spirituals and Gospel Music," A concert combining the Worship Choir from Calvary Church in Longmont with the Chorale for the sharing of inspirational spirituals,  tomorrow  (10/22)  at  Niwot High School  www.longmontchorale.org

The Grand March is at 8PM, dancing until 11:30. Costumes encouraged, prizes awarded! Otherwise formal/ semi-formal, whatever!!
