The Longmont Theatre’s presentation of Fools by Neil Simon -  a town has  been cursed with Chronic Stupidity for 200 years and a man must break the curse in less than 24 hours lest he, too, become an idiot.  Fools has been called, "The brightest, freshest, funniest, wittiest, warmest and happiest to-do on Broadway in many a day." Opening tonight (1/ 27), and running till February 11th.  Sunday performances are at 2:00 pm. Singer/songwriter extraordinaire, Ellis Paul has a 5:00 show at Avogadros Number in Ft. Collins tomorrow night (1/ 28), then Sunday (1/29), he heads to the Vilar Center in Beaver Creek for a 7:30 show. 

Tomorrow night (1/28/), it’s Pow’r Pick 6--  6-11pm at the Colorado Community Church in Englewood. Pickers of all levels and non-pickers welcome.

Blind Pilot with Martha Scanlin has an 8:00 show at the Boulder Theatre on Monday 1/30

Thursday, February 2nd, Annual UNC Lunar New Year Celebration and Carnival  at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley begin celebrating the New Year with a free carnival in the Fireside Lounge at the UC starting at 3pm, then from 5:30-8 PM, enjoy a delicious banquet of Asian cuisine, followed by entertainment by UNC students.

The Asian Pacific Association of Longmont (A-PAL) will celebrate Chinese New Year of the Dragon with free music and dance performances, interactive cultural activities, and food samplings. Come join this colorful, fun celebration of Longmont's rich cultural diversity! 2-5pm on February 4that Silver creek High School in Longmont.
