Celebrations, geese, lots of great music, theater and dance along Colorado’s Front Range and in the mountains this weekend.

Historic Downtown Greeley presents Friday Fest every Friday through October, 6-9 and today it is extra special as the Greeley Stampede takes over downtown for the Stampede  Kickoff, presenting the great country music of  "Luke & the Cool Hands".  As part of their annual fundraising efforts you can get your to-go drinks from the Stampede booth on the plaza! Put your country on and come downtown.

Art Night Out in Old Town Lafayette tonight—a community arts event, with live music from Smooth Money Gesture, downtown art walk, beer garden, artist booths, face painting, dining, literature, shopping, art receptions, children's activities, & more. 4-9:00 pm. 

Tomorrow enjoy the Festival of Faerie at the plaza in Old Town-- a day long fairytale festival of family fun, artists. Let your wings take flight, your imagination soar, all while walking your dragon. Adventure and fun for: Sprites, Pixies, Fae Folk, and Wee Fae (also recognized as: teens, adults, children)... friends of all ages.   The fun starts at 9am with a sidewalk parade.

Also tomorrow (6/16) in Old Town Lafayette, it is the Second Annual Garden Tour, featuring  features seven eclectic gardens in Old Town, including chicken coops, xeric landscapes, an urban farm, a 40-year-old rose garden and on-site artists showcasing the diverse, creative and eclectic spirit of historic Old Town Lafayette.  

Big happenings in Downtown Evergreen tomorrow, Festivities begin at 9:00am with bucking bull rides, pony rides for the kids, martial arts, belly dancing demos, a pancake breakfast and more! The Evergreen Rodeo parade begins at 10 am and gates at the fairgrounds open at 2 for the PRCA rodeo. 

Hear Words In Flight  an acoustic, eclectic band based on the original music featuring poetic lyrics, clever story-telling, Tomorrow night at the D-Note On Grandview Avenue in Olde Town Arvada 7pm. 

A Taste of Art- a summertime celebration for the soul, happens tomorrow (6/16) at savor a taste of art while enjoying wine and desserts at this gala art auction to benefit the High Plains Library District Foundation tomorrow (6/16) at. 6:30pm at Centennial Park Library  in Greeley   (970) 506-8565  

The IMPACT Dance Company's production of Surface explores the different ways that we define ourselves through movement, text, and visual art.  The performance opened yesterday and continues tonight and tomorrow night, then  Thursday, Friday, and Saturday next week (6/21-23) at 7:00 and 8:30 all nights at 222 Walnut Street in downtown Ft. Collins  

OpenStage theatre’s production of Shipwrecked!  An Entertainment continues in Friday and Saturday 7pm performances and 5:00 Sunday matinees till July 1 .

Bas Bleu Theater in Ft. Collins continues Buffalo Gals as art imitates life in this comedy about an actress who has fallen on hard times and returns home to Buffalo, N.Y. to rekindle her career on the local stage.  In 7:30 performances Thursday- Saturday and 2:30 Sunday Matinees.

Goosefest at the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden tomorrow and Sunday (6/16-17)-- an historic gathering of all of the Rio Grande Southern Galloping Geese.  This once in a lifetime event is one that many of you have been anticipating for years.

See a 1940’s USO style show with Bob Hope, Frank Sinatra & The Andrews Sisters!  Enjoy a night of dancing amongst WWII planes/flybys, military vehicles and re-enactors listening to the Rocky Mountains most sought after big band The Hot Tomatoes, under the nose of a WWII Bomber, 40‘s car show, The Diamond Dolls, Hot Club of Pearl, The Side-kickers, belly dancers, Boulder Swing Dance, swing dancing lessons and aerialists. So much more—

Richard Thompson with Clarence Bucaro have an 8:00 show at the Boulder Theater tomorrow night (6/16)  

The Boulder Ballet is back with Ballet in the Park, their eighth-annual FREE outdoor concert series! This family-friendly concert features excerpts from the season, along with new classical and contemporary works. This Sunday (6/17) you can enjoy the Boulder Ballet’s performance at Broomfield Amphitheater at 1pm.  , Broomfield.

Louisville Summer Concert Series—Free concerts on Thursdays at Community Park, 955 Bella Vista Drive in Louisville from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.  This Thursday, it’s Strange byrds serving up serve up every kind of music, from soul searching Folk/Americana to Blues to Rock n' Roll done right.

Next weekend, (6/23-24 celebrate your inner (or outer) Scandinavian with Estes Park’s Midsummer celebration with dancing around the maypole, Scandinavian music, food, crafts, Viking re-enactors amongst other events  9:30-5 both days

John Prine, in concert next Saturday, June 23 at the Ft. Collins Lincoln Center (‘nuf said)

Bill Frisell explores the songs of John Lennon on his new album, All We Are Saying, and has assembled a trusted ensemble to record his definitive take on the classic songs of John Lennon. Saturday, June 23rd at the Boulder Theater 

Hear great Bluegrass and Americana as The Steel Pennies and  Giddyup Kitty join forces for a 7:30 show on Tuesday, June 26th at Nissi’s in Lafayette
