As the Black Forest Fire winds down, a new one is starting up south of Denver.

Winds are fanning the flames of the Lime Gulch Fire, formerly called the Chair Rock Fire, which started Wednesday afternoon in southern Jefferson County. The fire is burning inthe area of Foxton Road and River Road near Conifer.
The fire is reportedly producing heavy smoke in the area. Officials have already started evacuating homes within a 3 mile radius of the Foxton Road and River road intersection. A reported 410 phones were contacted in the evacuation area.
Evergreen High School has been set up as an Evacuation Center. A shelter for large animals is available at Jefferson County Fairgrounds.
Jefferson County officials have already dispatched air support to help fight the fire, including at least one tanker that could be seen dropping slurry Wednesday afternoon. The cause is unknown.
