NASA Adds A New 'Final' Space Shuttle Flight
The AP reports that NASA has added one more shuttle flight to its schedule before the program is closed for good. The Atlantis is now scheduled to fly on June 28, taking supplies to the International Space Station.
That means NASA has three space shuttle flights left on its books, although the AP says it's not sure where the money will come for the newly announced Atlantis mission to the ISS:
NASA added the flight although it doesn't know where it will get the money to pay for it. The Obama administration and Congress agreed to the extra flight but Congress hasn't given NASA the few hundred million dollars needed.
