N.Y. Library To Hold All-Night Scavenger Hunt

LINDA WERTHEIMER, host:

Good morning. I'm Linda Wertheimer.

Want to pull an all-nighter at the New York Public Library? In May, the Manhattan library holds an all-night scavenger hunt to celebrate its centennial. A legendary gamer has created the clues with creepy treasures to find - Charles Dickens' letter opener made from the paw of his dead cat, Virginia Woolf's walking stick, found floating. Scavengers apply online to play. Only 500 get to stay all night.

It's MORNING EDITION. Transcript provided by NPR, Copyright NPR.
