Polis, Lundberg Spar Over Taxes and Government at CD2 Debate

The candidates in Colorado's newly redrawn 2nd Congressional district sparred on taxes and the role government plays in helping the economy at a well attended debate Tuesday night in Fort Collins.

Held at the Hilton, The event was sponsored by Northern Colorado 5-TV.

The sharp partisan divide in national politics was clear right down to the local level at the Fort Collins Hilton last night. Just before incumbent Democratic Congressman Jared Polis and his opponent Republican State Senator Kevin Lundberg were about to take the stage in a televised debate, a small scuffle broke out in the audience…
