Rep. Giffords Wanted To Calm Inflammatory Rhetoric

The night before Democratic Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was shot, she sent an email to an old friend, a Republican, Kentucky Secretary of State Trey Grayson. She told him that she wanted to talk to him about figuring out how to tone down political rhetoric and partisanship, and how to promote centrism and moderation. Grayson talks to Renee Montagne about what he says is Giffords' passion to tone down partisanship.
