Denver’s Regional Transportation District is holding another telephone town hall meeting Thursday to discuss the upcoming Northwest Area Mobility Study.

An earlier telephone town hall was held on June 19th.  48,000 numbers were called, and nearly 5,300 people participated. However, due to anRTDerror, the published telephone number was incorrect and some were prevented from calling in.

In a statement, RTD General Manager Phil Washington apologized for the error and announced Thursday’s meeting. "Our goal is to include as many people as possible in this process, so holding a second meeting will provide another opportunity for those who'd like to participate,” Washington said.

The 13 month study will explore a list of projects in an effort to improve transportation concerns in the Northwestern region of the Front Range.

During the town hall meeting, the public is encouraged to participate and ask questions.  The meeting is scheduled from 6:30-7:30 pm. To dial in call 1-877-229-8493, then enter code: 19081.
