-- "An unruly passenger on board an American Airlines flight bound for San Francisco was subdued by crew members and retired law-enforcement officers after he began yelling and pounding on the cockpit door, police said today. Rageit Almurisi, 28, who carried a California identification card and a Yemeni passport, was wrestled to the cabin floor of the Boeing 737 near the end of the four-hour flight on Sunday night. -- "Continental Airlines Flight No. 546 made an emergency landing in St. Louis ... after a passenger tried to open a door near the front of the plane. The flight, from Houston to Chicago, landed at Lambert St. Louis International Airport at 1:28 p.m. after the 1:15 p.m. incident." ( The St. Louis Post-Dispatch)
-- "A Delta Air Lines flight from Detroit to San Diego was diverted to Albuquerque, N.M., ... because of a reported security threat, but authorities found no suspicious devices on the plane, according to an FBI official. ... Passenger Tim Cole, 55, of Hazleton, Pa., told the Associated Press that the pilot announced that a note with the word 'bomb' on it had been found in one of the plane's bathrooms."
