There's nothing funny about the crimes they're accused of committing. But c'mon. Ya gotta love some of the nicknames for the alleged mobsters rounded up by the FBI yesterday in that huge sweep.
Whiny, Tony Bagels, Jack the Whack, Little John, Uncle Danny, Marbles, Skinny, Johnny Pizza, Mousey. And more. You can see the aliases in the documents posted online by the Justice Department.
Now, we can't list every marvelous moniker. But we have put 15 of our favorites into this just-for-fun survey. What's your top choice?
Update at noon ET:Commenter Will Houk suggested that "Jack the Whack" should have been among the choices. He's got a point. So, we've added Jack — meaning there are now 16 options. Yes, that means "Jack the Whack" starts from the "back of the pack," so to speak. With about 1,900 votes at this moment, "Vinny Carwash" and "Tony Bagels" have each gotten about 20% of the clicks.
