Just about every one of Colorado’s lawmakers seemed to find something to like in Governor John Hickenlooper’s second state of the state address. This year’s speech gave more of a framework for lawmakers as they meet over the next four months during the annual legislative session.

Colorado’s legislative leaders talked about job growth and cutting government red tape in their annual forum previewing the upcoming legislative session. Lawmakers also pledged to put the partisan rancor of congressional and statehouse redistricting behind them.
