It’s Still A Mystery: No Word On HP Cuts In Fort Collins

One day after announcing that it was cutting 8% of its workforce or some 27,000 positions, there’s still no word as to what the impact might be at the Hewlett Packard campus in Fort Collins. In fact, it’s not very well-know just how many people HP employs in Fort Collins. Estimates vary.

Fort Collins Awarded $54.5 Million for Mason St. Corridor Project

The city of Fort Collins is getting closer to realizing a transportation project that will help reduce commuting times and traffic congestion. The U.S. Department of Transportation granted $54.5 million today to develop a five-mile stretch of the major north/south corridor.

Fire Crews Close to Full Containment on Hewlett Fire

U.S. Forest Service

Fire officials say the Hewlett Fire is nearly contained. The report that the blaze was 85 percent contained came late Saturday night. Earlier in the week it prompted officials to temporarily evacuate about 80 homes.
