The US Forest Service has released its final report on the 2010 Four Mile Canyon fire that destroyed 169 homes west of Boulder.
The High Park and Waldo Canyon fires will cost insurers at least $449.7 million dollars. That’s according to a report released by the Rocky Mountain Insurance Information Association, an industry trade group.
Almost a year and a half after the most destructive wildfire in Colorado history, many Four Mile Canyon fire victims are still struggling to rebuild, and some still haven’t settled with their insurance companies.
