The city of Loveland is one step closer to building out the Aerospace Clean Energy Manufacturing and Innovation Park, or ACE—an effort that would bring more than a thousand high-tech jobs to Northern Colorado.
Police arrested or cited more than a dozen protesters outside a Loveland Wal-Mart Distribution Center today. The bulk of the arrests came after demonstrators attempted to block a truck’s exit around 1 pm.
The Occupy Denver movement will focus its efforts in Loveland today, demonstrating outside a Wal-Mart distribution center. It’s part of a larger nationwide effort today that will target the West Coast’s shipping ports.
