With recent wildfires in northern Colorado now under control, the City of Greeley is focusing on protecting its drinking water supplies. This week the USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service announced that it is awarding the city $500,000 to help mitigation efforts.

Northern Co. Snowpack Losing Ground in March

The recent stretch of warm, sunny weather in northern Colorado is taking a toll on the state’s already lagging snowpack.  Despite modest gains from several February storms, forecasters say the snowpack is shrinking with each warm day.
