Conservation advocacy group American Rivers has released its annual list of endangered waterways – and this year the Colorado River is at the top of the list.
Spirits were high on Sunday at this year's annual whitewater race. The race was run in "blackwater" as soot ran into the Poudre River from High Park Fire burn areas.
A new report commissioned by the advocacy group Protect the Flows says recreational activity along the Colorado River Basin generates more than $6.3 billion worth of direct spending into Colorado each year.
