She and three other voting officials were supposed to be delivering the ballots from their township to the county office. She says the delivery of the ballots were late because the bear, who was leaning up against the front door, would not go away. Authorities finally had to shoot the bear so they could make the delivery. She says they were trapped from about 9:30 to 11:00 p.m., and were finally able to deliver the ballots at one o'clock in the morning.
