Morning Shots: A New Post For Jon Stewart, And Best Picture Lego Scenes

Jon Stewart has been appointed to the board of the National September 11 Memorial and Museum, which cited his advocacy for 9/11 workers.

What are the effects of recent snowstorms? They are plentiful, but one of them is that people have been watching more television.

Two pieces of Glee-related news: First, Lea Michele will be singing "America The Beautiful" at the Super Bowl, according to E! Online. That's in addition to the halftime show from the Black Eyed Peas and the national anthem from Christina Aguilera.

Another sign that e-readers are catching on: Booker Prize judges are being given the option of getting the more than 100 novels they read electronically rather than on paper. (They can still get hard copies of the books if they'd rather.)

In other Oscar-adjacent topics, The Telegraph has this look at Charles Portis, who wrote the novel True Grit.

And finally, Best Week Ever has dug up this clip of Morgan Freeman as Dracula battling Spider-Man on the old PBS show The Electric Company. Think that's a mouthful? You are correct.
