All roadblocks in and around the Crystal fire northwest of Ft. Collins were lifted as of noon today.
The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office is still requesting that unnecessary traffic in the area be limited to keep the roads open for firefighters. No air resources worked the fire yesterday due to weather, but firefighters on the ground made good progress. The 3,200 acre fire is now 45% contained. Today’s focus will be on securing the fire’s perimeters. Helicopters will be used weather permitting.
