Ohio Thrill Seekers Land In Kiddie Pool

MARY LOUISE KELLY, host:

Good morning. I'm Mary Louise Kelly.

Here's one of the more unusual crime and punishment stories we've heard lately. Search teams were called out for a pair of Ohio thrill seekers who rafted down the Grand River without life jackets. When they realized how much trouble they were in, they lied about where they'd been. So a judge sentenced them to a kiddie pool. The couple had to stand in ankle deep water, handing out safety brochures. Oh, and in the kiddie pool they wore their life jackets.
