President Donald Trump is doing his best to undermine the results of the 2020 election, but his options are dwindling. Almost every legal challenge he’s brought against the results has failed. And Georgia’s recount reaffirmed Joe Biden’s narrow victory.

In a bid to install pro-Trump electors who won’t cast their ballots for Biden, Trump invited Michigan lawmakers to meet with him at the White House to try to convince them to delay the certification of the vote.

A key Republican member of the Michigan canvassing board is now signaling he may vote to delay certification.

What does the process of vote certification look like in the state of Michigan? And what happens if the vote isn’t certified?
