Eldon James Cancels Timnath Expansion

Proposed Timnath Facility

Proposed Timnath Facility

The city of Timnath will not be the home of a new $12-million plastics manufacturing plant. The Loveland-based Eldon James Corporation has walked away from the project.

Eldon James had planned to build a new 75-thousand square foot state-of-the-art facility on 11 acres in the Timnath Ranch Technology Park. The facility would have been 12 miles from their current manufacturing sites in Loveland and Fort Collins.

The ground breaking had originally been slated for March of this year. The new plastics manufacturing facility was proposed because of increased demand from the biomedical and automotive industries.

The company’s Bill Coulson says due to complicating factors, the Eldon James needs to move in another direction.

Eldon James still has information announcing the Timnath expansion on their website, and there’s been no word on what may be next for the company.
