Backstage with Mumford & Sons, Danielle Ate the Sandwich and Nick & Helen Forster

UPDATED 01/15/2012: If you missed the show, you can stream it from the eTown show page.

eTown heads back in time for an audience requested favorite: Mumford & Sons. Their 2009 album Sigh No More was a monster and we're all waiting for the follow up. Joining them in eTown is local phenom Danielle Ate The Sandwich. Tune in Sat @ 3!

As always this is classic eTown. But don't take my word for it, take Helen Forster's word for it. As she said on her blogon Tuesday:

For your listening pleasure: Mumford & Sons rocked eTown’s world when they were originally with us a year or so ago; it’s been one of THE most requested programs of the past, so much so that we had to re-air it for you. We head just a short distance down the road from the historic Boulder Theater to Colorado University’s Glenn Miller Ballroom, to welcome the Mumford boys and our other guest, quirky, wonderful Danielle Ate the Sandwich. There’s a really inspiring E-Chievement Award story this week, too, one of my favorites, highlighting the very real, continued need for aid in New Orleans (hard to believe, but its still recovering from the storm after all these year). This is classic eTown, full of tasty stuff – if you can, be with us!

I’m not a Colorado native (did you know that "I'm from Missouri" means "I'm skeptical of the matter and not easily convinced?") but I have lived here for most of my life and couldn't imagine leaving. After graduating from Colorado State University, I did what everyone wants to do; I moved to the mountains and skied, hiked, and hid from responsibility! Our listeners in the mountains may know me from my time in Steamboat Springs and Vail or as the voice of the Battle Mountain Huskies Hockey team in Vail.
