4 Colorado Men Identified As Victims Of Fiery Pileup

The four people killed after a semitrailer slammed into vehicles on a crowded stretch of Interstate 70 near Denver were all men from Colorado.

The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified them as 61-year-old Doyle Harrison of Hudson, 67-year-old William Bailey of Arvada, Miguel Angel Lamas Arellano of Denver and 69-year-old Stanley Politano of Arvada. They were traveling in separate vehicles in Thursday's crash, which involved 24 cars and four semitrailers.

Politano's family says he was the executive vice president for casino development company Jacobs Entertainment.

The semitrailer's driver, 23-year-old Rogel Lazaro Aguilera-Mederos of Houston, was arrested on suspicion of vehicular homicide. He allegedly told investigators that his brakes failed but they say he had passed by a runaway truck ramp, which enables vehicles that are having braking problems to safely stop.
