Colorado Edition: Super Tuesday 2020
Today on Colorado Edition: It’s primary election day here in Colorado! As we wait for results to come in across Colorado, we’re offering up a short podcast that explains what you need to know about Super Tuesday, from how ballots are counted to how delegates are allocated. We also explore how Colorado got back to holding a primary for the presidential race, after years of the caucus system.

To start the show off, we wanted to look at why Colorado went back to a primary for the presidential race, after years of caucusing. Turns out, KUNC’s Scott Franz looked into that question already. State Director Of Elections On Why Colorado Is A Part Of Super Tuesday
So now that we know why Colorado is back to using the primary again, what does it mean to be a part of Super Tuesday? To learn more, we spoke with Judd Choate, director of elections at the Colorado Department of State.
