Vanessa Otero

Vanessa is patent and trademark attorney at the firm of Neugeboren O'Dowd in Boulder. Originally from San Diego, CA, she attended UCLA and received her Bachelor's Degree in English. She spent a ten-year career in business-to-business, business-to-consumer, and pharmaceutical sales. She moved to Colorado in 2008 and received her J.D. from the University of Denver in 2013. She is a news media enthusiast and created the popular "Media Bias Chart" based upon a taxonomy and methodology for news quality ranking she developed. Vanessa enjoys snowboarding, traveling, fitness, and dogs.
