Bill Clinton To Speak In Denver

An Evening with President Bill Clinton is part of the Unique Lives & Experiences lecture series. Former President Bill Clinton is speaking Monday night at theColorado Convention Center in the Wells Fargo Theater.

The event begins at 8 p.m. Monday at 700 14th Street in Denver. Ticketsare still available beginning at $65.

President Bill Clintonwas the first Democratic president in six decades to be elected twice,  first in 1992 and then again in 1996. After leaving the White House, President Clinton established the William J. Clinton Foundation with the mission to improve global health, strengthen economies, promote healthier childhoods and protect the environment by fostering partnerships among governments, businesses, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), and private citizens to turn good intentions into measurable results.

President Clinton’s public speeches describe the challenge of globalization, emphasize our growing independence and point the way toward a common future based on shared goals and values.

My journalism career started in college when I worked as a reporter and Weekend Edition host for WEKU-FM, an NPR member station in Richmond, KY. I graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a B.A. in broadcast journalism.
