Statewide Issues

Proposition CC: Asking whether to allow the state of Colorado to keep all revenue it collects instead of giving refunds now mandated by the Taxpayers' Bill of Rights.
 

Proposition DD: Allowing sports betting in existing casinos and using 10% of proceeds to fund water projects and pay for regulation of sports betting.

Sales Tax And Bond Issues

Greeley

Loveland

  • Ballot Issue 2A: A sales and use tax to fund specific transportation and building projects.
     
  • Ballot Issue 2B: A sales and use tax to fund a new recreation and senior center.

Larimer County / Fort Collins

  • Ballot Issue 1A: A countywide sales tax increase of 0.5% to fund Larimer County transportation and facilities projects.
     
  • Ballot Issue 4A: A Poudre School District mill levy increase to fund teacher salaries, mental health positions and school security measures.

Longmont

  • Ballot Issue 3B: A sales and use tax increase of 0.18% to construct, operate and maintain a new recreation center with pool and ice rink; includes request for $45.5 million in debt authority.

Marijuana

Loveland

  • Ballot Issue 2C: A Loveland excise and sales tax on marijuana.
     
  • Ballot Issue 2D: Approving marijuana sales in Loveland.

Mead

  • Mead voters will decide whether to allow medical marijuana businesses and retail marijuana establishments.

Boulder Questions

  • Ballot Measure 2G: A sales and use tax of up to 40% of retail price of tobacco vaping products.
     
  • Ballot Measure 2H: A sales tax extension for maintenance, restoration, acquisition and preservation of open space.
     
  • Ballot Measure 2I: A request for $10 million in debt authority for a middle-income housing program.

Denver Questions

  • Referred Question 2A: If 2A passes, a Department of Transportation and Infrastructure will be formed within the City and County of Denver. This Department will perform duties related to services, safety programs and non-motorized transportation facilities (i.e. bike lanes) formerly performed by the Department of Public Works.
     
  • Referred Question 2B: Supports Denver Arts and Venues having the authority to manage, and control facilities owned or leased by the City and County for theatre, concert, auditorium or arena purposes. Currently, the Department of General Services is responsible for this management.
     
  • Referred Question 2C: Asks voters to approve the addition of an EMT (emergency medical technician) to the ranks in the fire department and allows the chief of the fire department to assign an assistant chief to the duties of shift commander. The assistant chief will report to the chief.
     
  • Referred Question 2D: If approved by voters, elected officials would be required to be residents of Denver and, similarly, would require City Councilmembers (excluding at-large representatives) to live in the district they represent.

Property Tax

Steamboat Springs

  • Ballot Issue 2A: An increase in property taxes for emergency services.

Sports Betting

  • As stipulated by House Bill 19-1327, Black Hawk, Central City, and Cripple Creek each have a question on their ballot requesting authorization of sports betting, if sports betting is also concurrently authorized at the statewide election.

  • Ballot Question 3A: A recall of Brighton mayor Ken Kreutzer.
